I have been a satisfied patient at Petras Family Dental for over 10 years. Reception is very friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The office is clean and organized. Online self booking is easy and convenient with ample appointment availabilities. Dr. Dennis Petras and his team are professional, friendly, competent and has an ability to put you at ease. This dental group does not push unnecessary therapies and after hours emergency care is available. I am always comfortable in their care and highly recommend them.

I can honestly say that this is the best dental office I’ve ever worked with. The staff are all very kind and the wait times are minimal. What’s impressive is that your dentist actually does the cleanings for you. They are fantastic with my two small children and always make us feel comfortable. I have never had an issue with any of the dental worked performed on me and I’m always in and out in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Petras !

I see Dr. Sandra Frederick and couldn’t be happier. I’ve always stayed with whichever dental office my family started me at when I was a kid, but as I got older, I realized I had outgrown my previous office.

I use the CDCP (Canadian Dental Care Plan) for my coverage, and other offices were still quoting me prices above and beyond what I expected. At Petras Family Dental, there was no hassle at all. I was made to feel completely comfortable and was kept informed through every step of my procedure. I’ve honestly never been so happy leaving a dental office!

Even when I called for a quick adjustment, they made me feel like a priority. That level of care is something I feel has been missing from businesses in general these days.

Everyone on the staff is so friendly and professional. Larsa was the first person I spoke with when booking my first appointment, and she couldn’t have been more gracious and welcoming.

Worth the drive to Amherstburg!

Dr. Dennis Petras was referred to me by a family member when I moved back to the region. He's professional and knowledgeable and always answers questions noting the science behind the reasoning. He's extremely personable and the office staff are friendly to deal with. His office embraces tech, which is nice to see and shows that they keep up with new innovation and invest in their business for the benefit of patients. Payment is available to be made online. Online booking is available. Emergency appointments available immediately when I needed it. Fees align with the recent Ontario Dental Association fee guide, that is generally used to set corporate dental benefit plans, meaning I don't pay out of pocket and it's covered 100% by insurance in MOST cases. Dennis is a trusted professional.

Dr. Roy Petras is an excellent dentist. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. He has a very pleasant demeanor that makes every visit comfortable and stress-free. His staff are always friendly, welcoming, and highly skilled at what they do. Dr. Dennis Petras is a friendly, professional dentist that takes his time to address any concerns you might have. He cleans the teeth as well as checks them, so he knows everything about the health of your teeth. I recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist. The office is centrally located in the heart of Amherstburg, has a large parking lot, and a very inviting waiting room. I've never waited long, and appointments generally last 30 minutes. They are quick but thorough. He's is also great with kids. You can book appointments online, which makes things easy to determine the best appointment time for you, but can also call to book if you prefer that method. I switched to Petras Family Dental a few years ago and I'm so glad I made the switch.

I cannot say enough good things about Petras Family Dental. I've been a patient here for 15 years and I have had excellent experiences every single time. From the staff being personal and greeting me by name, to the delicate care that they provide my children with and more. My husband has had some poor experiences with other dentists in the past and he also enjoys seeing Dr. Roy. He's very gentle and caring and listens to what you're worried about to ensure that you feel comfortable and safe while receiving top notch dental care. I had recently moved to Amherstburg and had no Dentists I had a tooth that was extremely painful and unbearable and I called around 3 different Dentists that morning and Dr Dennis did not hesitate to accommodate me that day. I am grateful for the last minute acceptance because it was simply unbearable. From the Secretary to the Doctors very respectful friendly and thorough. My whole family of 6 are now his patients.
